NEW DROP🍳 Level Up Kitchen Is Here: The Official SG101 Gamer Cookbook
12 cheap, fast, controller-safe recipes built for game night. Most cost $1 to $3 a serving.
Every gamer knows the struggle. The match is about to start, you're starving, and your options are a sad bag of chips or a delivery order that costs more than the game you're playing. I got tired of that, so I built something better.
Level Up Kitchen is the official Stephens Gaming 101 cookbook, straight out of the Spawn & Sizzle kitchen. It's 12 recipes made for real gamer life: cheap, fast, and safe to eat without wrecking your controller.
What's on the menu
- Wesley's Signature Bacon, Egg and Cheese. The one that started it all. Bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with salt, pepper and ketchup. About 8 minutes, about $1.75.
- Bacon, Egg and Cheese Panini. The signature sandwich, pressed flat and crispy in the air fryer.
- Boss Fight Nachos for squad nights.
- Mana Potion Iced Coffee for the late-night grind.
- The Final Boss Frappe to close out the session.
No fancy kitchen required
Every recipe uses gear you probably already have: a microwave, an air fryer, a toaster or a coffee maker. Most are done in about 15 minutes, so you're back in the lobby before the queue pops.
Get it
It's a 15-page PDF, $7.99, and it lands in your inbox the second you check out. Every copy helps keep the stream, the shop and the cooking show going.

Gaming and cooking, one kitchen. Here's what the show is all about.
Some streamers have a gaming setup. I'm building a gaming setup and a kitchen. Spawn & Sizzle is the Stephens Gaming 101 cooking show, where gamer food meets real talk.
The idea
Quick, cheap recipes you can actually make between matches, cooked live with the community hanging out in chat. No chef school, no expensive gear. Just a microwave, an air fryer, a toaster, a coffee maker and a lot of personality.
Where it starts
The recipes from the show are already in the Level Up Kitchen cookbook, so you can cook along before episode one even drops. Want to look the part? The Spawn & Sizzle apron is in the shop.
Don't miss the premiere
Follow the channel on Twitch and TikTok so you catch it the moment it goes live.

Your setup doesn't need to cost a fortune. It needs to feel like you.
Scroll through any setup tour and you'd think you need a $3,000 rig and a wall of RGB to be a real gamer. You don't. The best battle stations aren't the most expensive ones. They're the ones that feel like home.
1. Start with comfort, not looks
Your chair and your screen height matter more than anything with a light on it. Get your monitor or TV at eye level (a stack of books works) and sit so your feet are flat and your shoulders are relaxed. You'll play longer and feel better after.
2. Light it smart
A cheap LED strip behind your monitor or TV cuts eye strain in a dark room and instantly makes the space look like a setup instead of a desk. Pick one or two colors that match your vibe instead of rainbow everything.
3. Tame the cables
Velcro ties and a couple of adhesive clips cost a few bucks and make a bigger visual difference than a new peripheral. Clean cables, clean mind.
4. Make it personal
This is where your setup becomes yours. Hang art from the games and creators you love, put your controller on a stand, add a coaster for your drink. Little details tell people who you are the second they see your space. (The SG101 Framed Logo Wall Art and Controller Coaster were made for exactly this.)
5. Keep fuel within reach
A small spot for a drink and snacks keeps you in the game. Bonus points for snacks that don't leave grease on your controller. The Level Up Kitchen cookbook has you covered there.
Upgrade one thing at a time
Don't try to build the dream setup in a weekend. Pick one upgrade a month. In a year you'll have a battle station you're proud of, and you'll have paid for all of it without the stress.

Find your people, start chatting and jump into the game.
Discord is where gaming communities actually live. It's where people find teammates, share clips, talk about the latest drops and hang out while the stream is offline. If you've never joined a server before, it can feel like walking into a party where everyone already knows each other. Here's how to make it easy.
1. Make your account
Download Discord on your phone or PC (it's free), pick a username and add a profile picture. A real avatar makes you look like a person instead of a bot, and people are way more likely to say hi.
2. Join through an invite link
Most servers share an invite link on the creator's stream, socials or website. Tap it, hit join, and you're in. Some servers ask you to accept the rules or pick a role first. That's normal, so take a second and read them.
3. Lurk a little first
Check the channels on the left. Look for #welcome, #rules and #introductions. Spend a few minutes reading how people talk before you jump in. Every community has its own vibe.
4. Say hi
Drop a quick intro: what you play, what platform you're on, maybe your favorite game right now. That one message is usually all it takes to get pulled into a conversation.
5. Jump in voice when you're ready
Voice channels are where the squad forms. Pop in, listen for a minute, then join the fun. Nobody expects you to be a pro. They just want good teammates.
6. Be the kind of member you'd want around
Be respectful, keep the drama out, and help newer people the way someone helped you. That's how a server turns into a real community.

The SG101 community hangs out live on Twitch. A fresh Discord invite is dropping here soon, so check back and come say hi.

The stream is over. The headset is down. Here's why the best buff in the game is free.
We'll grind for hours to get a better rank, a better drop or a better build. But the one upgrade that makes every part of your game better costs nothing: sleep.
Sleep is a stat boost
When you're well rested, your reaction time is sharper, your decisions are better and you tilt less. One bad night and you'll feel it in your aim and your patience. Rest is part of playing well, not a break from it.
Easy ways to log off better
- Set a "last match" time. Decide before you start when the final game is, and stick to it.
- Dim the screens. Turn on night mode or drop the brightness in the last hour before bed.
- Watch the late caffeine. That energy drink at midnight is borrowing from tomorrow.
- Cool, dark, quiet. A comfortable room helps you fall asleep faster.
- Keep a rhythm. Going to bed around the same time most nights makes waking up a lot less painful.
The game will still be there
Your squad, your save file and your ranked grind will all be waiting tomorrow. Take care of the player behind the controller. Goodnight, gamers. 🌙

Build your setup, rep your crew and make your space feel like you.
Merch isn't just stuff with a logo on it. When it's done right, it's how you show what you're part of, and it's one of the most direct ways to support the creators you watch.
What makes merch worth buying
- You'd wear or use it even without the logo. Comfort and quality first.
- It fits your life. Hoodies for cold stream nights, mugs and coasters for the desk, art for the wall.
- It supports someone you care about. Buying from a creator's own shop means more of your money reaches them.
The SG101 lineup
Everything in the SG101 shop was picked to fit gamer life:
- Electric Controller Hoodie for long sessions and cold nights.
- Electric Shield Tee for everyday rep.
- Controller Coaster so your drink never ends up on your setup.
- SG101 Framed Logo Wall Art to finish your battle station.
- Spawn & Sizzle Apron for when the game turns into a cook-off.
- Lightning Crest Candle to set the mood when you finally log off.
And if you want something you can use tonight, the Level Up Kitchen cookbook is an instant download.

Join the squad, get closer and help build something awesome.
If you enjoy a creator's streams and videos, you've probably seen the "become a member" button. But what does it actually mean, and is it worth it?
Why memberships exist
Ad money and platform payouts for smaller creators are unpredictable. Memberships give creators steady support so they can keep making content, upgrade their gear and spend more time with the community instead of chasing sponsors.
What members usually get
- Behind-the-scenes updates from the creator.
- A closer connection to the creator and the core community.
- Early looks at new projects, drops and ideas.
- A say in what comes next. Members often help shape the content.
Is it worth it?
If a creator makes your week better, a membership is the most direct way to keep them going. Even the smallest tier makes a real difference to a growing channel.

The SG101 members area is where supporters hang out. Check it out and join the squad.

More connection. More community. Welcome to SG101.
Welcome to Stephens Gaming 101. If you're new here, hey, I'm Wesley. 👋
SG101 started as a love of games and turned into something bigger: a place where people can hang out, have fun and feel like they belong. The games are what bring us together. The people are why we stay.
What SG101 is
Rule number seven
Either find a way or make one. That's how SG101 was built, and that's the energy this community runs on.
Pull up a chair, say hi in chat and make yourself at home. Glad you're here.
